Prayer for Serving Others 

Loving and Generous Father, 
Help me to recognize the gifts you have given me. 
Give me the grace to share with others my talents, my 
goods, my time and my energy. 
Help me understand the needs of others, and be as 
gracious to them, as you have been to me. 
Allow me to give of my heart and soul, without expecting 
to receive. 
Allow me to serve as You serve, with gentleness, 
compassion, tenderness, mercy and a joyful heart. 
I ask this in the name of your Jesus Your Son, whose 
life of service I wish to follow.
